Congratulations to Jennifer Peters, Seneca Libraries’ eLearning and Digital Literacies Librarian! She has been awarded the Ontario College and University Library Association’s Special Achievement Award for her work as project manager on The Learning Portal. Jennifer, along with Anabella Arcaya from Algonquin College, is being recognized for her exceptional contribution to the Learning Portal.
The Learning Portal is a collaboration between the Ontario College libraries (HLLR), several Ontario college learning centres, and the Ontario Colleges Library Service (OCLS), and was built for our OntarioLearn Students. The portal provides access to open learning resources and services for Ontario's college students in the areas of Writing, Digital Skills, Digital Citizenship, Study Skills, Research, and Citing. Seneca Libraries and the Learning Centre have played a significant role in the development of this open resource.
