in the June 2021 issue

As a standing committee of Academic College Council, the Educational Technology Advisory Committee (ETAC) provides regular reports to and receives feedback from the Council on matters pertaining to the use of technology to enhance student learning and Seneca’s digital learning strategy. ETAC also serves as an expert reference group to ITS and academic leaders, providing insight, input, and feedback on initiatives, pilot projects, policy, and processes about the use of educational technology tools at Seneca. For more information, visit the ETAC Terms of Reference.

We are seeking 1 faculty member to begin in September 2021. Members will be selected based on their innovative ideas, a solid use and understanding of educational technology, creativity, and the ability to apply their thinking on an institutional level; they are not chosen as representatives of their School. Terms are for two years, renewable for one additional term. ETAC meets once a month from September to June.

To learn more about ETAC, see these two ETAC updates in previous issues of the Academic Newsletter:

If you are interested in becoming a faculty member representative on this committee, please send a letter of interest, stating how your experience aligns with the profile above, to Ashley Ribbel at Ashley.Ribbel@senecacollege.ca by 5:00 p.m. (Eastern time) on July 30, 2021.
