Enactus Seneca Team Competes at 2021 Enactus National Exposition

Seneca competed at the 2021 Enactus National Exposition from May 10 to May 20. The team had an outstanding performance with a total of three awards and a finalist in the Pitch Idea competition.

“The Overcomer,” a potential project that supports students and youth within the Black, Asian and ethnic minority groups, was selected as a finalist in the Youth Mental Wellness Pitch Competition category.Enactus Seneca earned the 'Excellence in Innovation' Award for their submissions to all the three pitch competition categories.

"The Overcomer," a potential project that supports students and youth within the Black, Asian, and ethnic minority groups, was selected as a finalist in the Youth Mental Wellness Pitch Competition category. This is the first time that Seneca's team has advanced to the final round in the pitch challenge.

Komel Minhas, VP Internal for Enactus Komel Minhas, VP Internal for Enactus Seneca, won the Spirit Award, which recognizes students who have gone above and beyond to serve as the team’s culture advocate, creating an inspiring and supportive environment for existing team members and an attractive environment for prospective members.

Over the course of the event, the team's strong performance was recognized by judges and won the 'Impact through Innovation' Award, which recognizes teams that stand out.

Besides competing, students at the Enactus Canada National Exposition had the opportunity to network, participate in workshops and panel discussions.
