On February 1, the School of Hospitality and Tourism hosted the 21st annual Career Expo where students had the opportunity to connect with potential employers, as well as learn from industry-leading recruiters. The virtual event attracted more than 600 attendees.

Four students from Seneca’s Honours Bachelor of Commerce – International Business Management program participated in the Kwantlen Polytechnic University National Business Case Competition in the week of March 4. Anastasiia Samoliuk, Armaghan Partovi, Mercedes Abreu, and Stephane Anglade competed against undergraduate students from post-secondary institutions from across the country.

Students in the School of Accounting and Financial Services in the Business – Insurance program took part in Career Nights on March 9 and 11, organized by Jeff Shnier.

In the School of Legal, Public and Office Administration, students are participating in a wide range of virtual activities. Students have attended virtual work placements and workshops, joined online conferences, and benefited from a wide range of online speakers joining their regular classes. Activities continue throughout the semester with virtual career preparation events and a virtual mooting competition.
