Extended Reality in Teaching and Learning Call for Proposals

The Teaching & Learning Centre is inviting interested program areas to submit proposals to develop Extended Reality (XR) learning activities for their students. Two proposal categories will be considered:

Category 1 – Adoption of an existing virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) application into course and/or program curriculum.

Category 2 – Development of a custom VR or AR application to support experiential course/program learning activities.

Who is eligible: All program areas offering full-time studies within Seneca Polytechnic. Proposals may be submitted by full-time faculty. Contract faculty members or program co-ordinators must have approval by the School Chair.

Please note: School areas will be responsible for providing SME/instructor release time. All proposals must be signed by the respective School Chair.

Submission deadline: Proposals must be received by the Teaching & Learning Centre by 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3, 2023. Successful projects will be announced by Nov. 10, 2023.
