Accommodations for Students Registered with Counselling and Accessibility Services

Counselling and Accessibility Services offers support for Seneca students who have provided relevant medical documentation and would benefit from supports including accommodations. Creating Accessible Documents

You can get access to Seneca branded documents including PowerPoints by going to Accessible Document Templates.

Two learning modules from Lynda.com teach, in video format, how to create accessible documents:

Explore Ryerson’s OER Understanding Document Accessibility. The content covers some basics on document accessibility and then provides some practical support for authoring techniques for word processors, spreadsheets and presentation and PDF applications.

National Centre on Disability and Access to Education (NCDAE) “cheat sheets” provide supports for Microsoft Office 2016.
