    A short code is a 6-digit number that displays as the sender of a text message to your mobile device. If you require a manual Duo activation, text messages are sent by 386732. Only the short code mentioned will be sent by Duo. If you receive another text message from a different short code, asking to provide personal information, do not reply. Report it to Service Desk, including the short code number and the contents of the text message. Once reported, you can then delete the text message from your device.
