Odeyto is the Anishnaabe word for "the good journey" or "journey to the urban." The new First Peoples@Seneca building is reminiscent of a canoe, resting on its side after a day’s journey. It is 1,800 sq. ft. of teaching, learning and gathering space for Indigenous students and the employees who make them feel at home. It also represents the journey our Indigenous students have chosen, coming to Seneca as a temporary stop on their life’s journey back to serve their communities. #SenecaProud #Seneca2020
