The Retiree Group Benefit Coverage that you elected at retirement determines your options for changing coverage.

Cancel Coverage

You may cancel your retiree group benefit coverage at any time.  The cancellation will be effective the first of the month following receipt of your cancellation request and completed CAAT - Retirement Group Insurance benefit program – Positive Enrolment Form by your Seneca Benefit Specialist.

Please be advised that once you cancel your coverage, coverage is not available again in the future.

Change Extended Health and/or Dental Coverage Plan

Plan coverage changes can be made once a year to take effect on February 1^st. 

If you choose to do so, you may change your coverage from Extended Health Plan 1 to Extended Health Plan 2 and/or Dental Care Plan 1 to Dental Care Plan 2.   

Please note that if you elect to change your coverage to Extended Health Plan 2 and/or Dental Care Plan 2, you will not be able to change your plan back to Extended Health Plan 1 or Dental Care Plan 1 in the future. Details of plan coverages can be found below:

If you wish to make any changes to your coverage, please complete the CAAT - Retirement Group Insurance benefit program – Positive Enrolment Form and return it to your Seneca Benefit Specialist no later than January 15^th, to take effect on February 1^st.
