SDG Multimedia Contest (Fall 2021) | Seneca Business: Principles for Responsible Management Education | Seneca Polytechnic

During Fall 2021, the PRME working group hosted the SDG Multimedia Contest. The contest was aimed at encouraging students to bring forward ideas for a more inclusive, equitable and sustainable Seneca Business, using SDGs to support their ideas and expressing them as either an infographic or a short video.

The contest had close to 90 student responses. Students had the chance to join as individuals or teams, and to work with faculty mentors for their submissions. Submissions were shortlisted by faculty judges and then the top six finalists were voted on by the Seneca Business community (students, staff, and faculty). The closing ceremony, on December 3, was hosted by sustainability guru Bob Willard who also gave a keynote address.

The winning entries were:

• Best video: “Integrating a Sustainable Curriculum within Seneca Business” team.
