Artificial Intelligence (AI) aims to create systems or machines that are capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as problem-solving, learning, reasoning, perception, language understanding, and decision-making.

Generative Artificial Intelligence is a subset of AI that focuses on creating systems capable of generating new content, data, or information that resembles human-generated content. These systems employ various algorithms and models to produce text, images, audio, and other forms of data.

Seneca's Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Policy serves as a framework for the responsible and safe use of GenAI.
