Seneca courses are delivered in a variety of modes outlined as follows:

Hybrid

Course activities and assessments are a thoughtful blend of face-to-face instruction with out-of-class experiences and/or online instructions. The goal is to achieve optimal learning by combining the best and most-relevant in-class and online teaching methodology and tools.

Online

All course activities and most assessments take place online and are facilitated by the professor. The design of the activities and assessments incorporate a variety of technology tools.

Face-to-Face

All course activities takes place in class and are supported by documents and resources posted online (in Blackboard).

All course design regardless of delivery mode should align to Standards of Practice which focus on 4 key areas:
  • Student and Student Success
  • Professional Knowledge
  • Professional Practice
  • Professional Learning
