The Teaching & Learning Centre has developed the following self-paced online modules. Everyone is welcome to use the links below and work their way through these modules:

  • Academic Integrity – this module on Academic Integrity for faculty members. You’ll learn about the Seneca’s Academic Integrity Policy, the academic integrity resources available to support you and your students, and you’ll have the opportunity to apply the policy to a variety of scenarios.
  • Classroom Essentials – this module is for faculty to find out information about the foundational requirements for getting started in teaching in the classroom at Seneca.
  • – these four modules are designed to help faculty teaching in degree programs design, develop, and deliver courses at an Honours Bachelor degree level.
  • Pressbooks @ Seneca: An Introduction – this module will show you how to get started using Pressbooks and highlights some of the features.

Learn@Seneca Online Modules:

  • Learn@Seneca Essentials – this module will explain the value of using Learn@Seneca to support student learning and walk you through how to set up your course on Learn@Seneca to meet the Minimum Requirements Policy.
  • Learn@Seneca Grade Centre – this module will explain how you can set up the Grade Centre to display all individual assessments and corresponding grades to students in a course; you’ll also learn how to use the Grade Centre to calculate final grades for a course.
  • Learn@Seneca Groups Tool – this module will explain how to set up online groups to engage students in collaborative learning; you’ll also learn how to use the Learn@Seneca Groups tool to manage student group work online.
  • Learn@Seneca SafeAssign Tool – this module will show you how to use the SafeAssign tool in Learn@Seneca as a teaching tool to help students produce original work.
