Spring is here and Teaching & Learning Day Spring 2023 is just around the corner! This is a full-day interactive event scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 2 at Newnham Campus’ CITE building in Room K2100.

This is a Teaching & Learning Day you don’t want to miss! The Teaching & Learning Centre and Program Quality teams have worked together to bring you a full day of activities exploring how you can integrate Truth & Reconciliation (TRC), Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), and Sustainability into your curriculum.

The day kicks off with an introduction to Seneca's Curriculum Integration project, followed by keynote speaker Kevin Lamoureux from the University of Winnipeg, an award-winning scholar and a well-known public speaker. Kevin has served as Associate Vice President for the University of Winnipeg, Education Lead for the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation, and Scholar in Residence for several school divisions, and has consulted for governments and organizations across Canada.

The morning will also include a breakout session: Curriculum Integration in Discussion, where you will take a deep dive into the Curriculum Integration project areas of focus (TRC, EDI, and Sustainability), plus look at the Curriculum Integration framework and Roadmap alongside Faculty Champions who will be leading their colleagues through this curriculum integration initiative.

Following lunch, you are invited to engage in the Reflections on Curriculum Integration panel discussion with panelists Mark Solomon, Rema Tavares, Lara McInnis, and Holly Cybulski who will share their knowledge and experience in the areas of TRC, EDI, and Sustainability.

Full details are available on the event website.
