Unleashing Creativity in Education with Generative AI
Come join us to learn about the current state of generative AI apps like ChatGPT, OpenAI Playground, Perplexity, and DALL-e and discuss their potential impact on higher education. We will explore the technology and how it works, then try the apps that have been built with this technology.
Generative AI will affect the way we teach, learn, and work, and provide both opportunities and challenges for us and students as we interact and engage with the technology. We will provide some ideas for how to prepare ourselves against the misuse of generative AI and how to evolve assessments alongside it. Participants will engage in smaller groups discussions on how to design assessments to both challenge and leverage AI.
