Shaping Tomorrow’s Sustainability

Seneca Business PRME Working Group will be hosting its first Applied Research Conference on June 20th, 2022.  Themed Shaping Tomorrow's Sustainability, the virtual conference showcases how Seneca Business is advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through applied research and scaling its impact through increased collaborations with the industry.  

Call for Abstracts

Seneca Business PRME Applied Research Conference (PARCon) is an annual conference that unites researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders with the goal of finding innovative solutions that will shape our sustainable future. The conference showcases how Seneca Business is advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through applied research and scaling its impact through increased collaborations with industry. PARCon openly embraces innovation from both industry and academia and welcomes submissions from related fields.

PARCon 2022 is issuing a call for abstracts presenting theoretical, innovative, and impactful solutions to address sustainability issues in business. The conference invites abstract submissions in five major themes:

• Sustainable Business Management

• Sustainable Hospitality and Tourism

• Sustainable Finance and Accounting

• Sustainable Legal Public and Office Administration.

• Sustainability Aviation

The abstracts should be between 200-400 words. Selected submissions will be placed in panel and author(s) will be required to deliver a 15-minute presentation on their topic.

Submission Instructions

Originality:  Abstract submissions to PARCon must be the original work of the authors. Authors should be aware that PARCon has a strict policy regarding plagiarism.

Author List:  Please ensure that your submission includes the full and final list of authors.

Proofreading:  It is essential that the language used in the paper is clear and logical.

Important Dates:

• Abstract submission deadline (Abstract & Authors list): 8th April 2022

• Presentation submission deadline: 20th May 2022

• Agenda/Notification: Week of June 6th, 2022
