Seneca Business welcomes Shahrzad Farzinpak as the new Chair for the School of Human Resources and Global Business. Shahrzad has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Economics and a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning. Her background working as a project lead in consulting engineering firms on projects related to sustainable urban development and socio-environmental impact assessments, has provided Shahrzad with the expertise to work with cross-disciplinary teams and apply her leadership, collaboration and problem-solving skills.Shahrzad’s Seneca Business journey started in December 2014 when she joined School of International Business as an assistant to the Chair right after graduation from Seneca’s International Business Management Graduate Certificate program. During her time with Seneca she has been involved in a number of projects including expansion of academic partnerships within and outside Canada, the development of Academic Integrity and Academic Appeal processes in support of the new policy directions, and Seneca Business strategic planning. Shahrzad is an empathetic leader with a deep appreciation for design of all kinds.
