Seneca students can get free software such as Office 365 and Trend Micro Internet Security is offered free to employees and students to help protect your home computer against threats.

If after I have installed Office 365 and later do not work at Seneca, do I still get to use the software (as the software in my home computer seems to be connected to my work's)?
Once you do not have access to your Seneca employee email, you will not be able to use the software. Your Seneca email account validates the license to use Office 365. You can purchase a subscription of your own, for information visit Microsoft .
Am I correct to say that I can continue to use it after I am not a Seneca employee if I purchase the Microsoft home use program (at 30% discount)? As I was going to purchase it, it needed to verify that I am a Seneca employee. Therefore, I just want to confirm my question above.
Your Seneca email allows you to get 30% discount from Microsoft Home Use. I was unable to confirm if it will ask you to verify your employment with Seneca after purchase.
