    Faculty applies their professional knowledge and experiences to ensure that students are engaged and meeting learning outcomes. They use a variety of instructional and assessment strategies to promote deep understanding of content areas and their connections. They use multiple methods of assessment to engage learners in their own growth and to guide decision making. Faculty understands and reflect on curriculum, ethics, research and related policies and procedures to inform their practice.
    1. Supporting and implementing Seneca’s Strategic Plan.
    2. Championing Seneca’s academic and professional policies and standards.
    3. Engaging in assessment for, of, and as learning.
    4. Setting high and attainable expectations.
    5. Providing timely and effective feedback to students.
    6. Using a variety of instructional and assessment strategies to develop a deeper understanding of content areas.
    7. Integrating educational and digital technologies into teaching practice.
    8. Engaging students in local and global networked learning.
Core Literacies Description
